Associate Pastor, Gary W. Wilson assists the Sr. Pastor with day to day responsibilities related to Staff and Administration as well as leading Pastoral Care Ministry, Men’s Ministry and PLACE Ministry.
PLACE Ministry is designed to help each member
of HBC truly understand how God can use their personality, spiritual gifts, abilities, passions,
and life experiences. Guiding followers of Christ to reach their God-given potential is the primary goal of the PLACE Ministry at HBC.
Men’s Ministry at HBC exists to support our pastor with the vision of reaching others “One Heart at a Time”. On the second Sunday of each month there is a Men’s Fellowship including breakfast and guest speakers who inspire and encourage our men. Operation Auto Care Ministry is to single moms
and widows where general auto maintenance is provided. “Making Men”, classes just for men are offered to enrich lives and enhance spiritual growth of men of HBC. The “Church Builders” Ministry Team forms groups throughout the year
as needed. These are planned construction trips where the men build new churches or remodel existing churches as the need arises.
Pastoral Care Ministry through counseling and prayer meets the very deepest needs with Biblical truths that bring help and healing.
